Lift Louisiana

Lift Louisiana builds a better Louisiana for women, girls and gender expansive people by advocating for reproductive health, rights and justice. Lift envisions a liberated and equitable Louisiana where our laws are rooted in compassion and empathy. Regardless of race, gender, class, or ability, every individual enjoys autonomy, access to essential information and unrestricted resources, allowing them to make informed decisions about their reproductive futures.

2022-2023 Impact Report

For Lift Louisiana's 2022-2023 Impact Report, I set out to create a design that reflected the organization's unwavering fight for reproductive justice and the communities they champion. Every visual element was carefully curated to emphasize their mission while making complex data accessible, impactful, and empowering.

A report by Lift Louisiana discussing public support for abortion access in Louisiana. It features a chart showing voter support by city: Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Monroe, New Orleans, and Shreveport. The text addresses legislative lobbying against abortion and indicates a majority favoring abortion rights. Respondent demographics show 38% Republican, 39% Democratic, 23% Independent. It notes increased support since the Dobbs decision.

The report was designed to amplify Lift Louisiana’s voice as a fierce advocate for bodily autonomy and equality. Balancing bold typography, dynamic layouts, and a striking color palette of teal, navy, and lime green, I captured the urgency and vibrancy of their grassroots efforts. The angled design elements throughout the report symbolize forward momentum, a nod to the organization’s relentless push for progress.

Breaking Down the Impact
