When designing the NFL Super Bowl Guide to New Orleans, I set out to craft more than just a directory—I wanted to create an immersive visual experience that reflects the city’s soul, vibrance, and culinary richness.

With official Super Bowl brand assets, I built a cohesive yet uniquely New Orleans-inspired aesthetic. This guide highlights over 50 restaurants and businesses, serving as a curated journey through the city’s most celebrated spots.

NFL Super Bowl Guide
to New Orleans

A Visual Celebration of Culture & Cuisine

New Orleans is a city of contrasts—history and modernity, elegance and grit, tradition and reinvention. The design of this guide reflects that duality, seamlessly merging the NFL’s bold, structured identity with the lively, colorful, and rhythmic spirit of the Crescent City.

The Heartbeat of A City That Knows How To Celebrate

Using official brand assets provided by the NFL—including backgrounds, textures, and fonts—I blended New Orleans’ vibrancy with the bold, high-energy aesthetic of the Super Bowl. Every design decision was intentional, crafting a guide that feels uniquely NOLA while maintaining a polished, cohesive NFL identity.

The guide spotlights over 50 restaurants and businesses, offering visitors a curated taste of New Orleans’ diverse food scene—from iconic Creole eateries to hidden neighborhood gems. Each feature tells a story, pairing dynamic layouts with immersive photography to showcase the flavors and history behind these must-visit spots.

Music as the City’s Heartbeat

New Orleans and music are inseparable. From the brass bands leading second lines to the smoky jazz clubs in the French Quarter, the city moves to its own rhythm. That’s why I incorporated illustrated musicians throughout the guide.

Shotgun Houses: A Symbol of Heritage, Hospitality, and Community

The shotgun houses featured in the guide are a reflection of New Orleans’ deep-rooted culture of hospitality, resilience, and history. These colorful homes represent generations of stories, from neighborhood cookouts to late-night porch conversations. They’re symbolic of the welcoming spirit that makes New Orleans so unique.

New Orleans is more than just the French Quarter or the stadium—it’s these neighborhoods, the families who live in them, and the businesses that sustain them.

Elevating Local Businesses in the NFL Super Bowl Spotlight

With visitors from across the country flocking to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, designing social media and newsletter graphics to empower these businesses to share their selection in a way that feels dynamic was essential.

For the social media graphics, I created multiple formats, ensuring businesses could easily share their feature across Instagram Stories, posts, and other digital platforms without losing the impact of the design. The newsletter graphic was crafted to congratulate businesses in an email-friendly format, making it easy for them to forward, repost, and integrate into their own promotional materials.

By designing these graphics with the same energy, texture, and vibrancy as the guide itself, I aimed to create a digital moment that feels just as special
